Cooking up a Storm on Location
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and that's why it makes such an integral space when it comes to shooting content. Whether you're filming a cookery shoot, TV ident, product stills, filming a commercial for a supermarket or anything at all, kitchens are always a popular choice that deliver great results. Amazing Space has had plenty of cookery shoots over the years, and we have built up a lovely collection of locations to accommodate them, whether that's in a studio or residential property. Today, we look at a few examples of spaces on our library with excellent kitchens, ideal for your next project.
COM-8001 is a super accommodating kitchen studio with a brilliant island at the end of the studio. It's light, bright and spacious with plenty of room to prep your ingredients, as well offering a lot of options when it comes to styling any product stills. This studio also boasts a fully functioning kitchen island with hob, with a neutral yet modern design meaning you can dress this space as needed. On top of all this, the island is in fact moveable, giving you full creative freedom and maximum use of the space. With the lighting, sound and dress allready under your control, shooting in a kitchen studio provides you with all the amenities you need to make for a practical and smooth shoot.
RES-8496 has not one, but two kitchens to choose from, and in addition to these is yet another prep kitchen! The larger kitchen has a lovely contemporary style with ample shelving behind the island, making this a very adaptable space when it comes to dressing. It's a really versatile space depeding on how you want to dress it; it can be a cosy family kitchen or mininalist, professional cooking space for more formal shoots. The second kitchen is a slightly smaller but equally as charming area, giving a more cosy and intimate setting. The benefit of having mutiple kitchens on site, means the food, drink or product can be prepped off-set, out of the way in one of the other spaces, leaving the main area for filming clear of any clutter or mess.
RES-10930 is a unique modern location with an amazing double height rear extension, meaning the kitchen feels open, spacious and incredibly luxurious. The super high ceiling provides a lot of room for various camera angles and movements meaning greater flexibility for filmmakers, while the marble backsplash and island, make for a classy backdrop for any cookery shoot while also being an icredibly functionable.
Amazing Space also features a number of shoot locations that include kitchen islands with hobs. With a mixture of both gas and electric hobs to choose from, these are great choices when it comes to cookery shoots. The central position of the hob easily allows your talent or chef to freely move around the kitchen, and face the camera when cooking, meaning they can get stuck into the food prep and cooking easily for the camera to follow.
