Further to their approach to us in 2000, we appointed Amazing Space as exclusive agent for film and photography at Gainsborough Studios (the former Alfred Hitchcock film studios) on the basis that we were awaiting final planning approval for the site.
Prior to our purchase, Amazing Space had already been arranging the film hire at Gainsborough through former owner Galliard Homes empty for some years and through their recommendation we continued to use Amazing Space’s service.
The property was in a state of disrepair, and we welcomed the additional revenue to put towards maintaining the site as well as the activity on site to ward off vandalism and break-ins.
We were immediately impressed by their pragmatism regarding the use of the space, their awareness to neighbours and their ability to produce tailored contracts for both filming and events. We valued their experience in selecting only projects they thought suitable for the building.
